School Prom & Disco
We regularly provide discos' for both School Proms and Fund-raising discos'. We have the music to cover all ages and genres to ensure a fantastic night that will live long in the memory. Children's Parties Entertaining Children is a difficult skill! It's not just a case of turning up, playing a few songs and hoping for the best, children as we all know, can be very demanding!
Ray plans a children's party down to the last detail, depending on ages, numbers and parental requirements. We play games, usually based around music, that everyone can join in and play, there are prizes, certificates, and sweets for everyone that takes part, so that no-one feels left out. Its all about keeping them occupied - Kids get bored very easily!!
Special rates for weekdays and School Holidays!! Ray does School Discos' on a regular basis and so knows exactly what keeps young minds occupied!
Themed Nights
Are you looking to make your event more interesting? Or maybe you would like your DJ to fit in with the theme of your party. Not only is our DJ Ray fun and interactive, but also masters of disguise.

Planning
We are happy to meet with you by telephone or in person to discuss your theme, music, location and other important details. Since we are a full event planning company, we can also help you with any decorations, entertainers, or party favors.
Games
Whether the guest would like a few games or a lot of games, we can keep the adults and kids busy with a great selection of activities. Lights, bubbles, etc. We just don't go to a show at night without lights! We've been to too many parties where other Djs have the lights shut off and everyone is dancing in the dark. We always bring lights and a bubble machine. They put everyone in a great dancing mood and it brings the party to life. The bubble machine is high output for a great effect
Cool DJ
Ray is not 13, but he knows the music and he knows what your guests like. He don't embarrass them or treat them like little kids. He treats them like the young adults that they are. The guest is the star of the show and we let him/her help us in the show and make suggestions.
We cover anything from the 60's such as Manfredd Mann, up to the latest chart, such as Kaiser Chiefs etc.
Jewish Traditions
We've got a wireless mike for the Motzi over the Challa, we can do the Hora, and help with any other traditional dances or traditions.
We are able to provide experienced, suitably attired, mobile DJs for weddings, corporate events, birthdays and many other types of event.
Requests are welcome on the night or in advance. We specialise in the following styles: - 60s, 70s, 80s & 90s DJs - Soul & Funk DJs - R&B & Hip Hop DJs - House DJs - Dance DJs
Playlisting
At Rayves Discos, we actively encourage you to give us as much information as possible about the music you would like to hear as well as details on the age ranges and probable tastes of your guests. Usually we advise you to send us a playlist of any number of tunes, which will give us an idea of your tastes and allow us to source any songs that we don't already have.
With a customised playlist as a guide, Ray will do his utmost to ensure that you won't miss out on your favourite tunes, whilst using his many years of experience to keep the dance floor jumping all night!
Consultation
At Rayves Discos, the booking is only the first step. We are happy to offer ongoing consultation about repertoire and timings and to liase with event co-ordinators and/or venue staff to make sure that your event runs smoothly without any hitches.
Equipment
Rayves Discos place a high premium on sound quality. Our standard sound system and lighting package features first rate sound and light equipment. Subwoofers, additional lighting and smoke machines can be supplied on request.
